Taking the stage at TEDxYYC 2017… Hayley Wickenheiser! An Olympic trailblazer with a passion for community and sport.

Hayley Wickenheiser is one of the best female hockey players in the world. A five-time Olympic medalist and national team member since age 15, Hayley’s numerous accolades include the Order of Canada, Canada’s Walk of Fame and The Globe and Mail’s “Power 50” influencers in sport.

Calgarians will gather and Intersect at TEDxYYC 2017 on June 23 at Arts Commons. We will navigate the fleeting and enduring moments where people meet, ideas converge, creativity flows, conversations spark and curiosity awakens.

A beacon of Calgary’s cultural landscape, this highly-anticipated event will welcome speakers from all corners of Technology, Entertainment and Design. In honour of #Canada150, this year’s TEDxYYC event will celebrate Canadiana and feature a collection of big thinkers, action takers, courageous innovators, trailblazers and brave artists from across our nation.
