Reimagining Basic Income
Dr. Evelyn L. Forget is Professor of Economics and Community Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba Canada. Her research investigates the social determinants of health, the health effects of social policy and more specifically, basic income. She is the author of Basic Income for Canadians: from the COVID-19 Emergency to Financial Security for All (James Lorimer and Co.). She is often called upon by governments, First Nations and international organisations to advise on poverty, inequality, health and social outcomes.
