First Round of Speakers Announced

Our first batch of speakers have been released, and we’re ready to get the ball rolling for 2012!

The director of the largest performing arts centre in Europe, a local doctor whose groundbreaking technology could make life easier for diabetics worldwide, and a beloved folk singer whose music has been played to generations of young Canadians are the first three announced speakers for TEDxYYC 2012.

Sir Nicholas Kenyon, Director of the Barbican Centre, Dr. Breanne Everett, President and CEO of Orpyx and Raffi Cavoukian, iconic Canadian folk singer are the first three of a slate of speakers who will be talking at the event on May 25, 2012 at TELUS Spark.
