TEDxYYC 2017 Presents Janelle Pewapsconias

Jun 1, 2017

TEDxYYC is proud to present Janelle Pewapsconias… A games creator with a zeal for Indigenous history and community.

Janelle Pewapsconias is a nehīyaw iskwesis (Plains Cree woman) who channels her creativity and passion for Indigenous culture via gaming platforms.

Calgarians will gather and Intersect at TEDxYYC 2017 on June 23 at Arts Commons. We will navigate the fleeting and enduring moments where people meet, ideas converge, creativity flows, conversations spark and curiosity awakens.

A beacon of Calgary’s cultural landscape, this highly-anticipated event will welcome speakers from all corners of Technology, Entertainment and Design.  In honour of #Canada150, this year’s TEDxYYC event will showcase #ideasworthspreading from a Canadian collection of big thinkers, action takers, courageous innovators, trailblazers and brave artists.
