TEDxYYC Lineup Change

Jun 7, 2013

There’s been a lineup change for next week’s TEDxYYC. In an unprecedented turn of events, two of our speakers, Maurice Strong and Dr. John Kani, are unable to attend our event due to personal medical emergencies. They’ll be in our thoughts, and we wish them both a speedy recovery.

While we’re sad that Dr. Kani and Mr. Strong aren’t able to join us, we are pleased to announce two additional speakers to round out our exciting roster:

Chris Adamkowski is the Head of Government and Energy at Google Canada.

Chris Turner is an award-winning Canadian author and journalist, and was the 2012 Calgary Centre federal by-election Green Party candidate.

Check out both their bios and the rest of our speaker lineup on our 2013 TEDxYYC speakers page.

Our speakers can’t wait to share their ideas with you on June 14th. We know you’ll have an inspiring, insightful experience at TEDxYYC. Please let us know if you have any questions – you can reach us at info@tedxyyc.com
